Stefany’s journey into medicine is driven by her passion for holistic, preventative care and her dedication to improving the lives of her patients. She began her healthcare career as a registered nurse, gaining invaluable experience in trauma, orthopedics, and acute care before pursuing advanced training as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C).
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University in 2013, followed by eight years of clinical experience in the Ortho/Trauma Unit at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. This experience exposed her to a wide range of complex medical conditions, giving her firsthand insight into the importance of early detection and preventative healthcare.
Stefany’s desire to take a more proactive role in patient care led her to pursue advanced training as a nurse practitioner. In 2020, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) from the University of Phoenix, allowing her to expand her scope of practice and take on a leadership role in primary care.
Today, as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Stefany provides a comprehensive, patient-first approach to healthcare. Her expertise spans preventative medicine, chronic disease management, lifestyle counseling, and patient education, helping individuals improve their health through evidence-based care and long-term wellness planning.

Stefany Irizarry, FNP-C, was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and has always had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether hiking, swimming, or playing with her energetic four-year-old son, Xavier, she embraces an active lifestyle that reflects her passion for health and wellness.
She’s also an adventurous foodie, having explored unique dishes in Japan, the Czech Republic, and Canada—including sea urchins and grasshoppers! Before pursuing a career in healthcare, Stefany dreamed of becoming a journalist, traveling the world, and documenting her experiences. While her path led her to medicine, she still enjoys journaling and capturing her life’s adventures through writing.
