Dr. Katherine Gross’s journey in medicine is shaped by her passion for patient care and her dedication to clinical excellence. She began her education at the University of Michigan, where she developed leadership skills as the captain of the women’s rugby team.
Her medical training took her across diverse clinical settings, giving her a well-rounded experience that informs her holistic approach to care. After earning her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in 2013, Dr. Gross completed both her Internal Medicine Residency (2016) and Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship (2019) at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Today, Dr. Gross is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care. Her clinical interests include pulmonary disease, rheumatologic/connective tissue disease, Valley Fever, and point-of-care ultrasound. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based care while focusing on each patient’s overall well-being.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Thoracic Society, which keep her connected with the latest research and advancements in her field.

She is also a passionate traveler and loves exploring new places.
